I am so glad you stopped by! I am Tara Mitchell and I am from Atlanta, GA (where my ATLiens at?!). I am a mother, a wife, a student, and now a blogger!
I started this blog because I wanted to document my natural hair journey and help others along the way, if at all possible, by my mistakes and success stories. I began transitioning my hair from relaxed to natural in 2004 and didn't looked back... well maybe once or twice... but never relaxed my hair again! I didn't have any major hair problems because of relaxing (no damage, breakage, hairline loss) so I was one of the fortunate. I did however HATE the process, the price, and the scabs left on my head after EVERY touchup. Enough already to the self inflected pain to my head and to my wallet! I am happier now, more confident, and I LOVE MY HAIR!
